I purchased a BellSouth 1500 integrated telephone all digital answering system in June 1996 at Walmart. It has performed well until recently, the portable unit with the rechargeable battery has gone dead. The model number on the battery is BT-800. Could it just be the battery or has the charger failed? How could I find out and if it is the battery, where can I get a replacement?
