Question About AT&T Telephone E580-2
registering a new phone with old hand set...

I purchased a replacement phone only for one of my handsets. It did not come with the charger. I can not get the new phone using the old charger to register with the base. Message says searching for base. I have reset entire sytem-still won't register. Any ideas? Ron
