Question About AT&T Telephone CRL82212
need users manual for landline phone...

I want to get rid of the voice mail indicator altogether. I have my own recorded message, but when the line is in use, it kicks over to some automatic voice mail thing that I don't even have. When it does this, callers assume they're leaving a message, but I never get it - only the VM indication that one or more VMs have come in.
