4 (Firstly I am not a genius, I battled to find any useful info on the net. Then I tried searched for AEG South Africa and got a crowd that only supports AEG major appliances; they did not even offer a local phone number of who did). Then I went to my local reseller (Makro) who gave me the right phone number and Steve helped me (I had to tell him that HE IS THE MAN). Here goes the elusive procedure: You place the handset (HS) in the main base station (BS). HS will will display Register and the antennae icon (top left) will flash . Press the top left button on the HS (HS will display CALL LIST). Scroll down with the top middle button (4 times on mine, CALL LIST, PHONEBOOK, BS SETTINGS, HS SETTINGS, REGISTRATION). When it displays REGISTRATION press the OK (top left) button. HS will display PIN? (although it looks like PIN7). Press 0000 (4 zeroes). At this stage press and hold the right front button on the BS [mine looks like a dot followed by 3 waves .))) ]. Keep this button in for the rest of the procedure. On the HS press OK (top left) of button. The HS will display SEARCHING and the after a short while (if all worked), the flashing antennae will only display solid (no flashing) and SEARCHING will disappear (mine displayed 2 NEW CALLS). Repeat procedure with other handsets.
