When I purchased the phone, it said it was also a speakerphone. The "spkr phone" key is not on my phone, however, sometimes there is listed "spkr ph" on the right hand lower corner. Although it says spkr phone, it does not work, or I can't get the volume to go up. I recently tried to get the spkr phone tab to come back up, but it won't come on. There is no spkr phone button on my phone, as it says in the manual, to turn it on and off

i have this phone also and for some reason there seems to be a problem either with the battery that i have or the power button because the screen blinks on and off every time i press the power button to try and turn it on. But i think the problem is because my son drooled over it when he was younger. Could this have an effect on the phone by chance?

i have a pair of talkabout fr50 i got from my girlfriend, without manuals. i am heading up deer hunting tonite and has a question. i know how to set the channel, but my other handhelds have a 'second channel' (i forget what that is called - code?). i.e., we talk on channel 6, code 7. on this talkabout pair, i could not figure out how to set the second setting, the 7 - or does it matter? i appreciate any help you can give me today. thank you. don

the ringer doesn´t make a sound when i receive a call.i´ve changed on the menu the volume of the phone to the highest and it works in that moment, where you can hear the level of the volume but when i receive a call the ringer does´nt work at all. i lost my used manual is there any way i could download it from a web page or something?? thanks for your help
