Product Problem: Frozen screen after replacing car battery

After changing my car's battery: A prompt to "CHECK MAP DISK" appears on the screen and all functions seem to be frozen except for 2 touch screen buttons that read "open/close" and "eject disk". I don't have the map disk or manual at this point.

300-400 dollars? that's insane! have you tried ebay? every now and then i'm sure one should pop up! or craigslist?! you should be able to find something cheaper. or why don't you try going to a dealer and see if they let you 'borrow' it. i'm sure there will be a charge but no where near $300. i'm actually looking to upgrade mine to the latest version but i just haven't had time. i'm really interested in the pics idea, the reason being i don't like the welcome screen...well good luck again! keep me posted!

Need navigation cd and the "key cd". The Eclipse system was already installed in truck when we purchased it.
