Product Problem: Model 25932 Expandable Cordless Phone

i have a GE 25932 expandable model phone. The extra handset keeps saying 'Please Register'. I cannot find my owner's manual and do not remember how to register it. I also get the message unavailable. The base says that the other handset may be in use (it isn't) or that i need to return the extra handset to the base for 20 seconds. This doesn't work! Help!

Product Problem: Setting the phone to ring at different desks

I work for a small mortgage co. Is there any way I can set the system so the main lines ring to one desk 3 times and then rings to another 3 times. I am trying to make so that if the person answering phones is away from the desk, it will go to another live body instead of the voice mail.
