I have a Motorola wireless phone and I have lost the instructions. I need to figure out how to set up the answer phone to receive messages of incoming calls. We have an answer phone message set up with Bright House but can't seem to be able to pick it up on our phone system! The model is MO7161-2.... Can you help me?

The little 15 page manual that I've got tells you what the icon looks like for ringer off (I don't see it on mine) but says nothing about how to do anything with that setting.

Lost power for 2 days. Now 'Out of Range' signal on handset. Tried all suggested 'deregister/reregister' stuff, no luck. Can call from base, seems like a handset issue.
