For the Handset
1. Press the MENU soft key.
2. Select the HANDSET SETUP menu, and then the RINGER
TONES submenu.
3. Move the cursor to highlight a ring tone. As each ring tone is
highlighted, you will hear a sample of the ring tone.
4. When you hear the tone you want to use, press the
OK soft
key. You will hear a conrmation tone.
For the Base
1. Press MENU/SELECT.
2. Select the RINGS/VOLUMES menu, and then the RINGER
TONES submenu.
3. Move the cursor to highlight a ring tone. As each ring tone is
highlighted, you will hear a sample of the ring tone.
4. When you hear the tone you want to use, press
MENU/
SELECT or the SELECT soft key. You will hear a conrmation
tone.
Activating Personal Ring
You can assign special ring tones to anyone in your phonebook.
When your phone gets a call, it looks up the Caller ID information
in your phonebook. If you’ve assigned a personal ring to that
number, the phone uses it so you know who is calling. To turn on
personal ring, follow these steps:
