o Message Waiting Tone – The user can receive an audible signal, “stutter” dial tone,
as notification of a message waiting; stutter dial tone notification is in addition to
the visual flashing LED notification.
o Auto Answer – The Phone can be configured to automatically answer an intercom
call by activating the speakerphone or headset connection.
- Call Forwarding
o Conditions – Defines the condition for Call Forward, Busy, No-Answer, Busy & No-
Answer or unconditional, or not used.
o Address to Forward - Defines the address to receive forwarded calls.
o No-Answer Time – When No-answer forward is selected, defines the time period
before calls are forwarded.
- Direct Call (Hotline/Warm-Line)
o Direct Call – Enables Hotline/Warm-Line operation; when the user goes off-hook,
a call is placed to a defined location.
o Direct Call Number - When Direct Call is assigned that when the user goes off-
hook, a call is placed to the defined number.
o Direct Call Timer – For Warm-Line operation, the timer specifies the period before
the Direct Call is placed. Set in 1 second increments (0-10 seconds); Hotline
operation is 0 seconds.
To modify parameters on the Call Preferences Configuration screen:
1) Select the desired parameter and enter new values, or select values from the drop-down
menus.
2) When complete, select the button to load new values to the LIP Phone memory.
