General Description
This feature enables a D
term
user to establish a three-way conference by connecting an additional party to an already
existing conversation.
Operating Procedure
1. Press the TRANSFER key; receive special dial tone; the original party is placed on hold.
2. Dial the desired number; receive an answer.
3. Announce the conference and press the CONF key.
4. THREE-WAY CALLING is now established. The LCD displays:

1. Originating party can hang up at any time. The other two parties are not disconnected.
2. Any combination of parties (internal or external) can be included in THREE-WAY CALLING - D

PRI.
3. The maximum number of simultaneous three-way calls is dependent on the quantity of conference-
function trunks within the system. The conference function is included in the INT and TSW- INT cards.
4. The THREE-WAY CALLING - D
term
- PRI feature is not restricted by the line class of service assigned
to the user’s line; therefore, a fully restricted station can transfer a call to another station or the
ATTENDANT CONSOLE [A-3].
