Preliminary dialing for PBX
This function is useful if your telephone is connected to a PBX. In this case, when
placing a call to an automatic exchange, it will be necessary to dial a preliminary
number. This function does that automatically.
To activate preliminary dialing
1. With the telephone in the standby mode, press the MENU button [3].
2. By pressing the button [5], select the DETAILED menu item, then press OK [3].
3. By pressing the button [5], select the PBX menu item, then press OK [3].
4. Enter the PIN-code, then press OK [3].
5. By pressing the or button [5], select ON.
6. Press the button [5]. Then by pressing the button [8], enter the preliminary
number consisting of not more than three figures.
7. Press OK [3] to confirm.
To cancel preliminary dialing
1. With the telephone in the standby mode, press the MENU button [3].
2. By pressing the button [5], select the DETAILED menu item, then press OK [3].
3. By pressing the button [5], select the PBX menu item, then press OK [3].
4. Enter the PIN-code, then press OK [3].
5. By pressing the or button [5], select OFF.
6. Press OK [3] to confirm.
Call barring
This function allows the blocking of calls to specific numbers and vice versa and
to permit making calls to specific numbers.
1. With the telephone in the standby mode, press the MENU button [3].
2. By pressing the button [5], select the DETAILED menu item, then press OK [3].
3. By pressing the button [5], select the CALL BARRING menu item, then press
OK [3].
4. Enter the PIN-code, then press OK [3].
5. By pressing the or button [5], select the number of the handset where you
intend to bar or allow making calls.
6. Press OK [3].
7. By pressing the or button [5], select the required mode:
OVERRIDE – no restrictions.
BAR ALL only to answer incoming calls.
