To Direct Unannounced Calls without
a DSS
1. Press
Start.
The caller IS put on hold and you hear a dial tone on your Call
button. Source shows fast tlashmg green light.
2. Dial extension or outside number.
You may need to enter the dial-out code or pool access code before
dialing the outside number.
3. Announce the call, if desired.
4. Hang up, press
Release,
or use the headset.
The call is directed.
To Direct Announced Calls
with/without DSS
1. Press
Start.
The caller is put on hold and you hear a dial tone. Source shows
fast flashing green light.
2. Dial extension or outside number. If your console
includes a DSS, you can use the DSS buttons if Manual
Completion is administered, but not with Automatic
Completion, since that directs the call without your
speaking to the person to whom it is directed.
You may need to enter the dial-out code or pool access code before
dialing the outside number.
