Features
Pickup
Use Pickup for temporary call coverage. You can pick up
calls ringing or held on individual extensions or trunk lines, or
be part of a Pickup group and pick up ringing calls for any
member of your group.
Individual Pickup
Use Individual Pickup when another operator’s or a co-
worker’s telephone is ringing and is unanswered. To answer
the call, select
Pickup
from your Home or Feature screen
and dial the ringing telephone’s extension or trunk number if
it’s an outside call.
You can also use Individual Pickup to retrieve a held or
parked call-one that has been placed on hold so that it can
be picked up from any telephone in the system. (See “Park”.)
To Use Individual Pickup
1. Select
Pickup
from the Home screen or press the
Feature
and select
Pickup
from the Feature screen.
The display shows a prompt for the line/trunk or extension number.
2. Dial the extension number, press the DSS button for
the extension, or
want to answer.
