Accessing Options on the Handset
Adding a Record to the Directory
The directory can store up to 50 names and numbers, which display in alphabetical
order. If no name is entered, the entries are sorted by number, at the beginning of the
directory.
To add an item to the directory:
1. Press the key from the idle mode as shown below.
2. Press the Add key.
3. Enter the Number/Address information. For more information on entering charac-
ters/numbers in the Directory, see "Entering Characters and Numbers in the Direc-
tory" on page 173.
4. Press Save to advance to the name entry screen.
5. Enter a name for the Number/Address information. The name can have up to 15
characters, including spaces. For more information on entering characters/num-
bers in the Directory, see "Entering Characters and Numbers in the Directory" on
page 173.
6. Press the Save softkey. The display shows "Item Saved".
