Member Discussion on Icom America Inc. IC-T2H Two-Way Radio

programing conventions ie call channel

I find a number of cases where the manual sez to operate the "CALL" function key and has a diagonal arrow in front of the word "call". The way it is used makes me expect to find a key marked "CALL", however I don't find one. Nor do I find the angled arrow.

The explaination in the manual describes the use of the angled arrow as a reference to a programed optional function assignment.

I can understand it with reference to the function but don't understand what button to push to achieve the desired affect. In one case it gives the option of using the AV key and another time it appears to be refering to the operation of both keys (AV and diagonal arrow and "CALL")

Thanks
