Can't get to work

I was trying to program a phone number into my phone by using the flash button and now I can't get the phone to work. If I press the flash/program button, I get Eng Fra Espa, press it again and get area code, press again and get ringer, press again and get tone or pulse. The phone base is off too. please help!
