Question About AT&T Answering Machine 1720
1720 problem...

We had a power outage in our home. When the power came back on, I reset the time on my AT&T 1720 digital answering machine but even though the power is back on, the number of messages keeps blinking "0" but does not answer the phone. How do I clear this problem?

0 I had the same thing happen to me and I cannot get the number of messages to stop blinking "0" and the machine will not take messages.

0 You may need to replace the batteries But first hit the power button, turning the machine back on. This should stop the blinking.
