  Panasonic phone on base keeps beeping
  I keep the handset on the base and recently it keeps beeping. The screen says charging. I thought maybe the battery in the handset is going, so I took the 2nd handset from another room and switched them. That solved the problem for about a week, but now it's beeping again. Before I go out and by two batteries at $20 each, I'm trying to find out if that's the problem. Thanks for your help.

  troubleshooting why there is static on line
  We were without electric power in Arkansas for four days. When the power came back one their was static on the line. It has recharged, but we still have the static. Could it be I will have to buy new batteries? Maybe I need to unhook it and reinstall in a different order? I can't find my instruction book.
