unclear number tones
When I push the number keys, the tones are very distorted. Will even get to the point where it will not dial. If I unplug the power and remove the batteries, it will reset itself. It is a new phone,(second one both the same problem) Visys model # TC25204RE1-A

cordless handset
Model # H5400RE3-A is fully charged. I had the battery checked out. The cordless says "Please register" when I attempt to use it. I downloaded the manual but it says nothing about this problem.
The corded phone is model #25414RE3-A

Handset for wall mounted phone does not work--when another handset from a desk top phone is plugged it works but it does not stay on the wall (need to have a divot in the handset for it to hang up properly on the wall mounted phone)

Phone lines
Is there a setting on the phone that will prevent another user from being able to pick up an occupied line. We are using these phones in our office, but just like in a house, anyone can pick up a line regardless of whether or not it is in use. We would like to rectify this problem, if possible.

RCA25404re3-A caller ID does not work

won't take caller's message
The phone picks up and gives the caller a "system busy" message. I managed to get it to stop doing that, but now can't make it pick up a call at all. Might help if I could find the user's manual. Anybody got one?

Answer greeting message
Cannot record our Outgoing Greeting Message. When we do record a greeting message, it is correct right after the recording but the next time, some other voice and message greets our callers.

Caller ID
Caller ID on one of our four phone system stopped working. When the phone rings it displays "no data", while the other threee phones on the system work fine. We changed the batteries, thinking they may be going dead, that did not help.

Digital answering system
Whenever I try to record a greeting on the phone time runs out before I complete the greeting. This happens in a matter of 6 seconds. Is there some way that I can extend the recording time of the greeting? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

All sound has stopped
While in middle of call, sound stopped. No dialtone, speaker or ringer on either line. Incoming call button lights up, but the line has not sound/volume. All lines working.

Our office has a model 25424re1-A and a cordless handset model h5401 with it. When the cordless handset is in use, the tableset cannot be used on the other (we use 2 lines) line. Also if the cordless handset is being used on 1 line and the 2nd line rings, it cannot be answered from the model 25424…

Handset list
Two handsets are registered. Handset 1 lists handset 2 and base when I press intercom. Handset 2 only lists base. I have run the handset list update and reregistered the handsets. The problem moved from HS 1 to HS 2. Therefore, HS 2 cannot call HS1. What's up??

Can't change phone ID
I have a 4-line base unit. I also have a cordless expansion handset. Both have (01) as their ID's. I have been trying to change one or both of the ID's so that I can set up the transfer function between stations, but this is driving me crazy. I can't get it to work. Anyone have some advice???

turn off answer feature
RCA 25204 2 line phone - I am unable to turn off the answer feature and the manual is long gone. If anyone has any idea how to turn off this feature (shy of unplugging the phone), I would greatly appreciate it.

We installed 8 handsets and 1 base station. If a person is on line 1 and someone else picks line 1 or all of them pick line 1 they can all hear each other. Is there a way to isolate individual phones.
