With cable company phone carrier, the phone automatically adds a "1" to redial and carrier won't dial locally with a "1" How do you get rid of it?

On both digital numbers & regulsr lines, the volume fades to inaudible, while the other party can still hear the conversation.

NUMBER OF RINGS
Your instructions in page 29 are not correct. it says to press ok and then going up or down but doing that, there is no ANSWER SYSTEM in the menu to be selected to be able to change the number of rings.
