  changing time on the machine
  I changed the clock back one hour. Now the box blinks a 0 and won't work. Instead of picking up after 4 rings, it goes 7 and then sounds like a fax machine. What do I do?

  Setting up Answering Machine
  I'm having a hard time with my machine. It has no sound. I have the volume set to 8, I've reset it by unplugging everything for 30sec and still can't get it to work. Any suggestions? Its brand new. I don't have a receipt for it, it was a graduation gift. . . please help.

  Have you pushed the "reset button on the back next to the "turn message on/off" and Ringer delay 2/4/? Or, push the "Change" Button and then record a new nessage pushing Message Button. Bill

  Answers no later than 4 rings!
  We can only control the start of the answering machine after but 4 rings! A user should have the option of specifying enough rings to get to the machine.
